On December 24, "The Russian Seasons", in collaboration with RCCR Projects, will present all viewers with a creative gift - the premiere broadcast of the Christmas concert at the Faberge Museum.
Stars of world opera and ballet will perform on the stage, including the soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Yelena Stikhina, pianist Nikolaus Rexroth, flutist Sofia Wieland, Russian theater and film actor Vladimir Koshevoy and many others.
“The Christmas concert, filmed specially at the Faberge Museum, is our gift to the European audience, timed to coincide with the celebration of Catholic Christmas,” said Alexei Lebedev, director of "The Russian Seasons".
In the Hall of Columns, opera singers will perform classical compositions and New Year's hits, and on the front staircase of the museum, the audience will be presented with an author's dance-improvisation by choreographer Vladimir Varnava. The concert program also includes Russian poetry and masterpieces of classical music performed by virtuoso pianists. In addition, there will be a premiere performance of the ballet with fragments of the play "Daphnis and Chloe" to the music of Darius Millau.
